Why do people like the Xbox360 so much?

My cousin has an Xbox 360. He said the PS3 is a better console. There's something that I always say: Things are expensive for a reason. Shoes are expensive for a reason, computers are, and videogame consoles. Anyway good for you that you can afford these things, appreciate it.
