My heart often LITERALLY hurts ever since may, 2010?

when i was 10 months old i had an open heart surgery due to congenital heart disease. and now, i'm 17 years old. when i was 16 until now, may, 2010 until this time, i can feel that my heart aches LITERALLY. why is this so? i haven't seen a doctor yet and haven't told my parents about this. what do you think is happening?
