What can you do to with a rat's long nails?

I have 2 rats, Rocky and Mucho, which need a nail clipping. Their nails are so sharp. Is there something i could use like a Concrete block or something to put in there that will file their nails since they are pretty feisty to hold on to to clip their nails?? Let me know what you think...
