Is she just letting me down easy?

She is going thru alot and you need to give her time. It doesnt mean shes letting you down but you have to give her, her space. Wat you can do is what you are doing now. Just be there for her and show her that you can be a great friend. Remember a relationship starts off by being friends. Those ones are the best ones. Good luck!
